Today we will be wrapping presents and getting ready for tomorrow morning. Steve and I usually don’t wrap what we got for the children until Christmas eve. Then we put everything under the tree after they are in bed.
We have a few food traditions. Christmas eve morning we have muffins, and for dinner we [...]

Fran the Fridge

We recently named our refrigerator. We know it is female, because (can I blog this) she has monthly cycles. She is only three years old which makes it more unusual. We tried to return her and get her fixed, but they would have non of that. She was three months over warranty. [...]

weird things I do

I know these are not normal things that most people do. I confess that I sweep the table. Yes, I got tired of wiping the crumbs onto the floor and then some of them being stuck in the wet dishcloth. Yuck. So now, after a meal I just pick up the broom [...]

B.I.F.ed and more

I came home to a little surprise last night. We had been B.I.F.ed (Bless It Forwarded..ed) The kids were very excited about it because it involved a bag of candy. We also got a blessing in the mail today. What a treat!

Last night a friend emailed and said he would help fix my computer. I am more than impressed. After describing the problem I just knew I would have to take it somewhere. Little did I know he was that computer talented.  He even sent a link to the part I needed. He found it for [...]

A little glimpse

I added a little music this week to the blog. I hope you will enjoy something peaceful for a moment. I also wanted to share a little prophetic glimpse from old that leads to the fulfillment of that which we celebrate.

I have been subscribing to this newsletter for a while and I thought I would share today’s devotional with you. Happy Birthday

Tomorrow, December 10th is my husband’s birthday. It’s hard to have a December birthday. It always seems to get lost in the Christmas season.
Hey honey….I will try not to wrap your present in Chrismas paper.
Happy Birthday. I won’t tell your age if you won’t tell mine!
