Tonight I had to execute an important mission. I decided to take on the job and not send p daddy, even though p daddy is fully capable at this point of accomplishing the mission.
I try to spare him as often as possible from retrieving the items needed considering what he is having to undergo on the home front. Poor p daddy and the two boys, seven girls in the house, I’m not sure there will ever be a good week.
But, there will always be chocolate or ice cream.
Soooo, here is what I successfully came home with tonight.

This is too funny
I needed a good laugh! It reminds me of growing up with 5 females in the house…there was never a good week
Yes…with 3 girls and 4 boys in our family…my mom always tried to spare my daddy too! I am sure he really appreciated it!!!
I’ve been on that kind of mission – though MDW does, like you, try to spare me the trauma.
And, having three young daughters, the thought that there will always be ice cream and chocolate in the house is a cheery one. Thanks!
Too funny….I try to spare John but it doesn’t always work…..I must admit, I do love his facial expressions when he asked:)!!!!
Dear Lord, THANK YOU for my boys!
you’re a better woman than i…only 1 female in this household at the moment & i’m always sending chris on this sort of mission ;o)
I am hoping that my five girls are spaced so that I will have no more than 2 of them ‘participating’ in the house at the same time
One of my favorite scenes in a movie is in “Mr. Mom” when Michael Keaton has to take over the shopping & needs to purchase this item for his wife. There ends up being a big production over the price of the item at the check-out that involves an announcement over the store speaker. FUNNY!
Craig is no stranger to this task. I see that these trips in your household involves several “varieties” & that requires extra searching. This is also the case in our home. Craig says he doesn’t mind. : )
LOL !!! My poor hubby is the only man in our house full of 6 women! My oldest daughter is 5 years older than the second…from there they are all less than 2 years apart. I am sure life is going to be hell, so we are trying to enjoy it now! My oldest should be entering that phase of life any day now, and I am NOT looking forward to it.
