carrots and cheese

2 lb. carrots
8 oz Velveeta
8 oz. sour cream
2 tbsp. margarine
2 chicken bouillon cubes
onion flakes to taste
Peel, slice and boil carrots in water with onion flakes, boullion cubes, salt and pepper to taste. Drain. melt together margarine and cheese. Add sour cream to cheese mix. Place carrots in casserole dish and top with sauce. Mix lightly. Bake [...]

Taco Soup

1 lb ground beef browned and drained
1 medium onion
3- 16 oz. cans of chili beans
1- 16 oz can Rotel tomatoes
1- 15 oz can of tomato sauce
1- 1/2 cup of water
1- 1 1/4  oz. packet of taco seasoning
1- 1 oz packet of dry ranch salad dressing
Add all ingredients and simmer for 30 minutes.

Lasagna recipe

I already have my crock-pot lasagna recipe on the blog, but sometimes you just want that good old oven cooked lasagna.
1 lb. ground beef browned and drained

Homemade Bread

2 cups of hot water
1/2 cup of oil
1/2 cup of honey
1 pkg. yeast
5 cups of flour
2 teaspoons of salt.
Combine, water, oil and honey in large bowl.
Add 3 cups flour then add yeast and salt, mix thoroughly.
Add remaining flour and knead until smooth and elastic.

Mexican Chicken

Mexican Chicken
2 lbs. boneless chicken (cooked)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 can rotel
3/4 lb. grated cheese
1/2 t garlic powder
1 small onion

Yam casserole
