Five year old, ”She wears sandals.”
Mom, “I think that’s a great costume idea.”
Five year old, “Well, I think I will be a flower instead, but [...]

I will admit I haven’t had this since I was a kid. My dad brought this recipe down with him a few months back. I haven’t tried it yet, but here it is straight from my grandmother’s kitchen. At least that’s what I hear.

8 to 10 tbs. sugar
dash of salt.

The dancer had to help with their performance one of the nights, but the other evening they were in town, we were able to just go and enjoy the performance. It was a little challenging getting there. A [...]

I am so thankful right now that I am sitting in a dry house and everyone is safe. Last night it poured for hours and hours. I had two rivers running in my yard. Thankfully, they were on either side of my house and not running through it. Some of my neighbors weren’t so lucky. [...]
